Our Corporate Intelligence and Due Diligence Investigations Section is headed by our founding partner Jon B. Coats, Jr., Esq. After years of representing clients, both corporations and individuals, in multi-million-dollar business and real estate transactions, Mr. Coats has developed trusted resources, both nationally and internationally, that allow us the ability to deep dive into the background of almost any individual or business entity and find out who they really are.
Knowledge is Power!! And when it comes to business or real estate deals knowing who you are dealing with before contracts are signed and money starts changing hands can be the difference between getting in on a great deal, and avoiding a financial and/or personal nightmare.
Trust but Verify!! President Ronald Reagan used this phrase to describe how the U.S. would proceed with its negotiations with the Soviet Union. Since the phrase was actually an old Russian proverb, the Russians took no offense to it, and it has since become part of our lexicon too. And while you may not be negotiating nuclear proliferation treaties with a communist regime, verifying all the players in a business deal is just as important.
